pest bird control

Where we operate

We specialise in the removal of birds from high risk locations such as shopping centres, schools, stadiums, around churches and public spaces. We also operate within factories, horse arenas, grain silos, machinery sheds and other commercial or private locations.

Disease transmission

Pest birds, particularly Indian Myna can transmit diseases such as avian influenza, salmonellosis, cryptococcosis, histoplasmosis, and ectoparasites like ticks and mites. These diseases can affect humans and other animals, most significantly poultry, primarily through contact with contaminated bird droppings or ectoparasites.

Property damage

Property damage

Their nesting and roosting behaviors can lead to structural damage, as they often create nests in buildings, roofs, and gutters, causing blockages and compromising structural integrity. Furthermore, their acidic droppings corrode building materials, including metal, stone, and wood, resulting in costly repairs and maintenance. For bird removal on the Central Coast we have several methods to get the job done.

Myna

Property damage

Indian Myna: These birds are known for their aggressive behavior, outcompeting native birds for food and nesting sites. They can also spread diseases to other bird species.

Arguably the most invasive and damaging of the pest birds in Australia, we can help remove Indian Myna birds from your shed, shopping centre, farm or other location should you need.

Impact of Invasive Birds

Invasive birds like the Indian myna and common starling pose significant economic and biological hazards in NSW and the Central Coast. They compete with native species, leading to biodiversity decline and ecosystem disruption. In agricultural areas, they damage crops, causing financial losses for farmers and impacting food production. In urban environments, they create nuisances by roosting on buildings, generating noise, and causing property damage.

Pigeon

In NSW Australia, several bird species are considered invasive pests due to their negative impacts on native ecosystems, agriculture, or human activities. Some of the pest bird species we can remove on the Central Coast include:

Indian Myna, Rock Pigeon, Common Starling, House Sparrow, European Goldfinch.
